Cancellation & Refund Policy
MyMedha sells digital study content that is delivered instantly. Refunds are available within 7 days if you haven't used the paid content; otherwise plans are non-refundable, with the exceptions below.
Last updated: 7 October 2026
1. What you are buying
A plan is a one-time purchase that unlocks digital content (question banks, mock tests, previous papers, explanations and adaptive practice) for a stated exam and a stated period. It is delivered instantly to your account and is not a subscription: nothing renews, nothing is charged again, and there is nothing to cancel to stop future charges.
2. Cancellation
Because access is granted within a minute of payment, an order cannot be cancelled once the payment succeeds. If you change your mind, request a refund under Section 3 instead. If a payment is pending or failed at Razorpay, no plan is granted and any amount debited is reversed automatically by your bank or UPI app, usually within 5–7 working days.
3. 7-day refund if no paid content was accessed
You may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase if you have not accessed any paid content under the plan. "Paid content" means content that was locked before the purchase: for example, opening a paid mock test or previous paper, or answering practice questions beyond the free preview. Free content remains free and does not count.
We check this against your account's activity log. If paid content was accessed, the plan has been consumed and is not eligible under this section.
4. Refunds we always honour
Regardless of usage or time elapsed, we will refund you in full if:
- you were charged twice for the same plan (the duplicate is refunded);
- payment succeeded but we could not grant access to your account within 48 hours of you contacting us;
- you bought a plan for the wrong exam and have not accessed its paid content (we will swap it or refund it);
- we withdraw the exam you bought before your plan's expiry (pro-rata refund of the unused period).
5. What is not refundable
- Plans where paid content has been accessed and more than 7 days have passed;
- Plans granted through an access key, coupon or promotion (no payment was made to us);
- Unused time remaining on a plan when you delete your account or stop using the app;
- Dissatisfaction with exam results. MyMedha is a study aid and does not guarantee outcomes;
- Device or network problems outside our control, provided the app works as described on a supported device.
6. How to request a refund
- Email [support email] with the subject "Refund request".
- Include: the email you paid with, the plan name, the Razorpay payment ID (starts with
pay_, shown in your payment confirmation), and a sentence on why. - We reply within 2 working days. Approved refunds are issued through Razorpay to the original payment method (card, UPI or bank account) within 5–7 working days of approval; your bank may take a few more days to show it.
- Once refunded, the plan's access is removed from your account.
Refunds are made only to the original payment method. We cannot refund to a different account or in cash.
7. Chargebacks
Please contact us before raising a dispute with your bank; we resolve almost everything within a couple of days. If a chargeback is raised for a plan whose content was accessed, we will provide the activity log to the payment provider and may suspend the account while the dispute is open.
8. Consumer rights
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate to our grievance officer (see Terms) or approach your district consumer commission.
